SwingDancePro.com is supposed to be an informative website for swing dance professionals, aspiring dancers and event promoters, to help improve the rates, conditions, treatment and perception of international level swing dance professional instructors, increase the success and profitability of swing dance events, and help lift the profile of lindy hop and other swing dances in general.
What happened to the old web site?
The availability of free information like this seems to be unwelcome by the highest levels of the swing dance community, and an anonamous person had the original web site banned by the Internet Service Providor on copyright grounds. Thankyou to the person that arranged that without even speaking to me, and caused all my hard work and labor of love to be lost. Given that a number of top level instructors were very rude when contacting me, one lady in particular, I can imagine who is responsible. Thankyou to those pros that contacted me with their concerns and suggestions, and were polite and professional, and also to the over 40 people who left comments and sent emails of support, ideas and suggestions. You are what this website is about. As you can see we are now on a new server and a new and improved SwingDancePro.com is on its way.
